CWF Goes Hollywood !!

The latest ChicksWhoFish charter was aboard the "Fins & Pins" out of Dana Landing in Mission Beach. We all met at 8:00 p.m. and loaded the boat with gear and enough food to feed the army! With Captain Ron Baker of FishTalkRadio at the helm, and Chuck Myers and his crew onboard to film the action, we got everything organized and started our filming of Women In Fishing. We began with doing an introduction of ourselves, name, who sponsors us, how long we have been fishing, etc. Then it was time to get bait, rig up and head to the fishing grounds. Deena showed us all a new called the Baldy Knot, and it sure proved to be a great knot as you will see in the show.

We all were up before the sun was and we got our first jig strike at sunrise. It was albies and more albies on bait. We also found a couple of patties with nice size yellowtail and another albacore. Most of our fish were caught on bait. We began trolling again and Alecia put in a great CD and the fun began!! I have never laughed so hard in my life, my stomach still hurts today from laughing so hard I was crying!!!!! Leeann, thank you for teaching us all the bootie dance as seen in the movie "Charlies Angels"!

Our last stop of the day produced some exciting jumping dorados. I think Linda's bootie dance on the deck got them going!! We boated 4 dorados at that stop, then we headed for home.

I would like to Thank Capt. Ron Baker, Deena, Capt. Chuck Meyers, Camera Man Don, Leeann, Jenny, Caprice, Linda, Alecia, Darlene for a very memorable trip. This was the most fun I've had on a fishing trip, and my first all-girl trip too!! It was fantastic, and I'm looking forward to more all-girl trips in the future!!!
